I had polenta with sauteed spinach, Romanesca sauce and a crispy fried hard cooked yolk egg (by request) and it was spectacular. I would say, the prices are higher, but still mostly under $10 per plate, which if you're having Brunch, as we did, well then split the difference. Now, a word about the menu.many have commented here and friends have said it to me as well.many have said the prices are high. I LOVE the fresh, modern (and Orange.or since it's 2012, "Tangerine Tango") decor and felt very at home. Our server was pleasant, quick and did not make us feel that he wanted to turn the table. I can't believe it's taken me so long to go to Tangerine, but a friend suggested we meet at 8:30am and the atmosphere was great, so we lingered over coffee until 11. We'll definitely be back again and again! One note, the folks who run Tangerine also run Arugula next door, which explains their access to and inclusion of so many high-end Italian ingredients in their dishes. It matches most closely with the types of dishes served at Snooze, although I think the execution and ingredients were better at Tangerine. Likewise, this isn't the sort of grub they serve at Walnut Cafe or the Buff. This isn't diner food - visit Dot's or Starlite for that. My wife was similarly pleased with her dish, which featured asparagus and mushrooms alongside eggs. Sliced brie, prosciutto, pesto, and a newly-made hollandaise sauce accompanied two expertly-poached eggs. The "Green Eggs & Ham" benedict I ordered was by far the best eggs benedict I've ever had. The menu had a wide range of options, with several variations on common themes - omelets, benedicts, frittatas, etc. If you frequent Boulder restaurants on weekend breakfasts, you know that getting a table can be quite an affair. While busy, we were seated and served right away. We dropped into Tangerine Saturday for a late breakfast.
